  • Mentoring and training your team on the latest testing tools and methodologies.
  • Continuously seeking improvements in quality engineering approaches and tracking quality metrics like defect density, test pass rate, and mean time to detect/resolve issues.

What experience you'll bring:

  • Background in consultancy across the full SDLC/Engineering.
  • Evidence of driving sales and growth by expanding within a client or winning new business.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in conveying information at all levels.
  • Knowledge of the latest developments in GenAI and QE.
  • Experience building advanced, feature-rich test automation frameworks from scratch using object-oriented and scripting languages.
  • Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
  • Experience working in Agile teams, designing and building automated tests for effective coverage.
  • Providing test assurance according to acceptance criteria in a test-first environment.
  • Collaborating closely with Software Engineers to meet testing requirements and contribute to agile delivery.
  • Participating in estimation activities and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Ensuring best practices and standards are followed during retrospectives and planning.
  • Proficiency with Git repositories and workflows, managing multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Leading code reviews, resolving conflicts, and merging quality work.
  • Collaborating with front-end developers to understand requirements and issues.
  • Understanding CI/CD pipelines and their role in automation testing.
  • Knowledge of non-functional testing requirements, including performance, accessibility, security, and compatibility.
  • Experience with command-line operations on Windows or Linux.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to unit test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with Cucumber, SpecFlow, BDD, ATDD.
  • API and microservice testing experience.
  • Experience across various domains including Cloud and Web applications.
  • Mobile automation and contract testing experience are advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; consultancy experience preferred.
  • Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins.
