Job summary

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd. is recruiting a Quality Engineer to support a Tier 1 nuclear client in Leicester. The role is hybrid, offering up to £55/hr umbrella PAYE for a 12-month contract, with 37 hours per week and a mix of on-site and remote work. Start ASAP, BPSS clearance eligibility is required.

The ideal candidate will have nuclear or highly regulated manufacturing experience, strong welding inspection knowledge, and expertise in ITPs, QCPs, LTQRs, NCRs and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Quality Engineering experience within manufacturing, fabrication or engineering.
• CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 or PCN Level 2 Welding Inspection is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ITPs, QCPs and LTQRs.
• Welding inspection and manufacturing documentation experience.
• Experience with NCRs, supplier quality and corrective actions.

QUALITY ENGINEER - NUCLEAR

We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to support a Tier 1 nuclear client on a major engineering programme in Leicester.

Key Details

• Up to £55/hr Umbrella PAYE
• 12-month contract | Start ASAP
• 37 hours per week
• Minimum 3 days per week in Leicester, remainder remote
• Must be eligible for BPSS clearance

Key Requirements

• Quality Engineering experience within manufacturing, fabrication or engineering
• CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 or PCN Level 2 Welding Inspection
• Strong knowledge of ITPs, QCPs and LTQRs
• Welding inspection and manufacturing documentation experience
• Experience with NCRs, supplier quality and corrective actions
• Nuclear or other highly regulated/safety-critical experience preferred
• Engineering qualification desirable

Nuclear experience is preferred but not essential, with candidates from other highly regulated manufacturing environments considered
