Job summary

Shillito Group in Hull is seeking a Quality Engineer to join an established manufacturing business on a permanent basis. The role is hands-on, spanning production, engineering and supply chain to sustain standards, investigate issues and drive improvements.

Salary up to £40,000 with a contributory pension and benefits. You will investigate non-conformances, perform root-cause analyses and support audits while helping maintain the QMS and collaborate with suppliers on quality performance across

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Quality role within manufacturing.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001.
• Experience with audits, non-conformances and root cause analysis.
• Comfortable working with engineering and production teams.
• Regulated manufacturing experience is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Investigating non conformances and quality issues.
• Carrying out root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Supporting internal and external audits.
• Maintaining and improving the QMS.
• Working with suppliers on quality performance.
• Supporting inspections, product verification and new projects.
• Helping drive continuous improvement across the business.
