Job summary

Shillito Group in Hull is recruiting a Quality Engineer for an established manufacturing business. This is a hands-on quality role, working across production, engineering and supply chain to help maintain standards, investigate issues and improve processes.

Salary up to £40,000 with contributory pension, employee discounts and benefits, Employee Assistance Programme, subsidised gym membership and free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality role within manufacturing.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001.
• Experience with audits, non-conformances and root cause analysis.
• Comfortable working with engineering and production teams.
• Practical, problem-solving approach.

Shillito Group are working with an established manufacturing business in Hull to recruit a Quality Engineer.

This is a hands on quality role, working across production, engineering and supply chain to help maintain standards, investigate issues and improve processes.

The role

• Investigating non conformances and quality issues
• Carrying out root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Maintaining and improving the QMS
• Working with suppliers on quality performance
• Supporting inspections, product verification and new projects
• Helping drive continuous improvement across the business

What they're looking for

• Previous experience in a Quality role within manufacturing
• Good understanding of ISO 9001
• Experience with audits, non-conformances and root cause analysis
• Comfortable working with engineering and production teams
• A practical, problem-solving approach

Experience within engineering, marine, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment would be useful, but isn't essential.
