Job description

Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for a Quality Technician / Quality Engineer to support within their QA Department.

This is a temporary contract, initially for 6 months, possibly longer. They are looking for someone who can start immediately.

  • Salary: Circa 36,000
  • Hours of work: Normally 8.00am to 4.10pm, Monday to Friday (could change in relation to supporting holiday cover).

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • You have recent experience as a Quality Engineer / Quality Technician / QA Engineer / Quality Assurance Technician, ideally in the Automotive industry.
  • You have experience of Calibration, Metrology and Warranty investigations.
  • Ideally you have knowledge of Core Tools principles.
  • You have an understanding of the IATF 16494 accreditation.
  • You can start with short notice.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • You will be involved in matters relating to quarantine, rework and reintroduction of products.
  • You will be assisting with control and corrective actions of non-conforming products.
  • Interaction will be necessary between suppliers and customers.
