Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Quality Engineer for an initial 6-month contract on-site in Birmingham. The role focuses on PFMEA, PPAP and APQP within a fast-moving manufacturing environment to ensure products meet customer requirements.

You will develop core quality documentation, work with engineering and production teams, review drawings with GD&T, and drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in PFMEA, PPAP and APQP within manufacturing.
• Generation and development of core quality documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PFMEAs, PPAPs and APQP deliverables.
• Identify quality and manufacturing risks and implement robust controls.
• Review drawings with GD&T and assess manufacturing feasibility.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure quality on the shop floor.
