Job summary

Owen Daniels in the Midlands is seeking experienced, hands-on Quality Engineers to join a leading automotive manufacturer on a contract basis.

You will support NPI activities, review drawings for GD&T, manage PPAP submissions, and assess feasibility from design through production. This role offers varied contract durations and outside IR35.

Candidates should have proven automotive QA experience and a practical, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• PPAP submissions experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and dimensional tolerancing.
• Hands-on approach and automotive QA experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support NPI activities, ensuring quality requirements are met from design through to production.
• Prepare and manage PPAP submissions, including engineering changes
• Review engineering drawings for GD&T and dimensional tolerancing, and carry out feasibility assessments

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within the automotive industry
• Strong working knowledge of PPAP, GD&T and NPI quality processes
• Hands‑on approach
