Job summary

TechPoint seeks a quality-focused professional to support manufacturing processes and the QMS. The role involves ensuring conformance of PCBA products, coordinating with the production team, and driving improvements from design through final test.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on PCBAs experience, IPC IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 knowledge, and a proven track record in a quality-related environment, with a mindset toward continuous improvement and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing PCBA products.
• Knowledge of IPC IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards.
• Experience in a quality-related environment.
• Experience updating QMS and production documentation.
• Attention to detail with a right-first-time mindset.
• Lean Six Sigma experience is desirable.
• AS9100 experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the company's QMS, including internal audits against ISO 9001 standards.
• Collaborate with production to ensure conformance of goods and sample inspection, including FAIR/SCAR/concessions.
• Assist with introduction of new product introduction (NPI) and process control.
• Champion root-cause analysis and complete CAPA actions.
• Manage customer returns, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Evaluate and implement process improvements with tracking of changes and new equipment.
• Support customer visits, audits, and quality-related RFIs.
