Job summary

TechPoint in the United Kingdom seeks a Quality Manager to lead QA and QMS activities in our PCB assembly facility. You will drive conformance, process control, and continuous improvement across production and new product introduction.

The role requires IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 knowledge, experience in quality environments, and a right-first-time mindset; Lean/Six Sigma is desirable, AS9100 is a plus. This is a full-time on-site role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing PCBAs.
Knowledge IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001.
Experience in a quality related environment.
Experience updating QMS and production documentation.
Attention to detail with a right first-time approach.
Lean & 6-Sigma experience is desirable.
Experience with AS9100 standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

Manage and improve the company’s QMS, including internal audits against ISO9001 standards.
Work with the production team to ensure conformance of goods, sample inspection, FAIR/SCAR/concessions.
Assist with the introduction of NPI products and process control.
Champion problem solving to identify root cause and complete CAPA.
Manage the customer returns process, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
Process evaluation and improvements with tracking and monitoring changes and researching new processes/equipment.
Support customer visits, audits and quality-based RFIs.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this role is to support the daily functions relating to both the product and processes within our manufacturing facility. Our factory is configured to produce complex hardware to support NPI to medium batch sizes, supporting customer with PCB design layout, PCBA assembly and finished product assembly and test.

Responsibilities:
