Job Opportunity: Quality Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our client’s team at their state-of-the-art facility based in Tewkesbury on a permanent basis.

Our client designs and manufactures complex mechanical products for global application in the aerospace and defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support APQP integration and implementation into NPI process.
  2. Support advanced quality planning activities.
  3. Incorporate customer requirements into NPI processes.
  4. Integrate lessons learned into APQP activities.
  5. Coordinate and monitor PPAP activities.
  6. Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes.
  7. Support cross-functional teams in addressing non-conformances and corrective actions.
  8. Resolve corrective actions raised during audits.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in general APQP and PPAP application.
  • Experience working in an AS9100 environment.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with PFMEA.
  • Experience supporting NPI.
  • Effective communication skills, both internally and externally.
