Skills

The Opportunity - Quality Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our client’s team at their state-of-the-art facility based in Tewkesbury on a permanent basis.

Our client designs and manufactures complex mechanical products for global application in the aerospace and defence sectors.

Key responsibilities include supporting APQP and PPAP processes, integrating customer requirements into NPI, and supporting cross-functional teams in addressing non-conformances and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support APQP integration and implementation into NPI process.
• Support advanced quality planning activities.
• Incorporate customer requirements into NPI processes.
• Integrate lessons learned into APQP activities.
• Coordinate and monitor PPAP activities.
• Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements.
• Support cross-functional teams in managing non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Resolve issues raised during audits.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience with APQP and PPAP applications.
• Experience working in an AS9100 environment.
• Knowledge and practical experience with PFMEA.
• Support experience in NPI processes.
• Effective communication skills internally and externally.
