Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment in Port Talbot is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality assurance across production and lead continuous improvement efforts. The role focuses on maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards while coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

The successful candidate will manage audits, drive corrective actions, and support health & safety initiatives, with a clear path for progression and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading QA across production lines with ISO 9001/14001.
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience.
• Knowledge of PPAP, DFMA, IPC wiring standards; Six Sigma is a plus.
• Experience with audits and driving corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance across production and ensure conformance to standards.
• Manage quality audits and maintain ISO 9001 & 14001 compliance.
• Drive corrective actions and support health & safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure product quality.
