About The Role

The Defence & Nuclear Technology Solutions (UK) division, a KBR Mission Technology Solutions Business Unit, is looking for a Graduate Quality Engineer to join the quality department with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience by supporting the projects with quality assurance and control activities. Applicants should have a genuine interest in Quality Assurance, and desire to build a career in the discipline. As a Graduate Engineer Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the organisation's commitment to quality and compliance. Reporting directly to the Head of Quality & Innovation, you will be responsible for maintenance and ongoing management of the Integrated Management System (IMS), participate in process reviews, coordinate Quality Assurance activities, support project audits, and contribute to our broader digital transformation initiatives. The role will require a good understanding of modern digital tools, processes and behaviours required to support our capability improvement and to improve and implement processes that add value to our customers. The role will support the implementation of the Quality transformation initiative and requires a proactive approach and a willingness to learn and develop new skills to effectively help deliver improvements.

Who We’re Looking For
  • A minimum 2:1 bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering, Scientific, or Technical discipline
  • A relevant master’s degree is advantageous but not essential (i.e. master’s in quality management, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills – You enjoy digging into data and finding smart solutions.
  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to your work.
  • An interest in Quality systems and standards like ISO9001, and a drive to uphold high assurance processes.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – to engage confidently across teams.
  • Team spirit – You work effectively within project teams and across disciplines.
  • Top‑nothong organisation and prioritisation skills – You manage your time and tasks with ease.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools – especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Bonus skills (desirable but not essential): Experience with data analytics tools like Power BI.
