Job summary

KAEFER UK & Ireland in Jarrow is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee QA and QC in Manufacturing and across the supply chain on a permanent basis. You will compile lifetime quality records for delivery to the customer and ensure compliance with client specifications and the KAEFER quality management system.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control (current or recently lapsed).
• Experience in Manufacturing and Welding.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Quality Control in Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
• QA surveillance of adherence to specifications and procedures.
• Lead continuous improvement activities to raise performance.
• Liaise with Client QA/QC/Document Control representatives.
• Maintain LTQR records and compile delivery records.
• Superuser for Client document control system.
• Identify, investigate and remedy non-conformances.
• Visit suppliers and monitor supplier performance.
