Job summary

Teledyne Energetics UK invites applications for a Quality Engineer to grow their career within engineering for energetic devices such as detonators, strip line cables and safety arming units. The role ensures products, processes and systems comply with stringent regulatory, customer and industry standards throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Must have Quality Assurance experience within a precision manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality requirements.
• Ability to read and understand technical operating procedures and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with operating procedures.
• Meet customer-defined quality KPIs.
• Lead gage R&R, ANOVA MSA activities.
• Develop procedures to accommodate a changing environment.
• Support operations in achieving continuous improvement and champion changes with Process Engineers.
• Lead Quality Root Cause and Corrective actions (8D, A3).
• Produce Right-First-Time data and publish results to direct improvement efforts.
• Liaise with all areas of the business and with suppliers/customers on quality issues.
• Conduct layered process audits and internal audits to demonstrate compliance.
• Attend business/product reviews to ensure customer requirements are met.
