Job summary

Custom Interconnect Ltd is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the development and maintenance of its Quality Management System within a high-precision manufacturing environment. The role focuses on upholding ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, and ISO7 cleanroom standards, leading investigations and corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement across production and QA teams.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years in a manufacturing quality role, cleanroom exposure, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing/engineering environment
• Cleanroom experience desirable and awareness of associated standards
• Experience in ISO 9001, AS9100D, ISO 13485 and IATF 16949
• Proficiency with problem-solving tools such as 8D, CAPA and 5-Whys

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System and promote a positive quality culture
• Lead product quality in customer and production areas including containment, investigations and corrective actions
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement culture and support customer-led Quality Initiatives
• Coordinate internal and external audits including ISO7 cleanroom certification
• Monitor calibration controls and maintain tool registers; ensure measurement equipment is within spec
• Ensure substances in the clean room are identified and COSHH data is available
• Review training status and support Six Sigma initiatives across processes
