Job summary

Trayport in London is seeking a Quality Engineer to partner with developers, product owners and DevOps to deliver high-quality, customer-focused software for trading platforms.

You will drive shift-left and exploratory testing, contribute to test automation, and help design observability and release strategies to ensure stability in production.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software quality and exploratory testing.
• Able to understand complex distributed architectures.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills; understands testing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Shift-left and drive a 'Quality-by-Design' culture in requirements analysis and architecture reviews.
• Design risk-based test strategies and perform exploratory testing.
• Contribute to automation to maintain quality coverage.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering to integrate quality gates into CI/CD.
• Lead initiatives to modernise test environments and release strategies.
• Document development and test activities to a high standard.
