What you'll be doing

What You'll Be Doing


As a Quality Advisor / Engineer, you'll work alongside project leadership, design, construction, and supply chain teams to:

  • Support the development and implementation of quality plans, inspection and test strategies, and digital assurance systems
  • Monitor and verify compliance with Balfour Beatty procedures, external accreditations, and industry best practices
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including customers, consultants, and accreditation bodies
  • Help deliver handover documentation and quality deliverables in line with customer expectations
  • Provide guidance to project and supply chain teams, promote continuous improvement, and contribute to a quality-driven culture
  • Support audits, investigations, reporting, and the integration of digital tools across the project lifecycle
Who we're looking for

Essential:

  • Relevant experience in quality, operational, or technical roles within the construction or infrastructure sectors
  • Level 4+ qualification in Quality, Construction, or PCQI
  • Solid understanding of ISO 9000 terminology and quality management principles
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and comfortable using digital assurance systems

Desirable:

  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
  • Experience with digital progressive assurance systems or electronic forms
  • Awareness of nuclear or similarly regulated industries
  • Background in construction site management or operations
