Job summary

Anderson Scott Solutions Ltd is seeking a Quality Engineer in the Dudley area. The role offers a £36,000–£40,000 p.a. salary and a four-day week within a permanent, on-site setting.

Previous automotive or aerospace quality experience is preferred, with opportunities for progression in a growing business. You will manage PPAPs/ISIRs, maintain ISO 9001, develop FMEA, control plans and PSW, and investigate quality issues to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing quality role.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems and audits.
• CMM experience is desirable for measurement and inspection.
• IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications are a plus but not essential.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and own initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Produce PPAPs, ISIRs and other customer-specific documentation.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality management system and audits.
• Create FMEA, control plans, PSW, IMDS.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out inspections (first-off, last-off, in-process).
• Ensure products meet customer specs and tolerances.
• Support APQP, ISIR, PSW and 8D processes.
• Collaborate with production to reduce defects and waste.
• Update procedures, work instructions, records; train staff.
