With 40 years of experience, Harvey Water Softeners is the UK market leader in the manufacture and retail of domestic water softeners. At our factory in Old Woking, we have a full production and R&D facility, both of which sit alongside our head office. We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Quality Engineer to join the team. As Quality Engineer you will support the development and production of water softeners.

The role will include assisting the quality team with water regulation approval for the UK and EU, working with the manufacturing team on continuous improvements as well as the use root cause analysis.

What this role involves:

  • Problem solving: identifying the root cause of issues, implement containment, countermeasures and ensuring verification of countermeasures are successful
  • Drive internal and supplier improvements
  • Maintaining water regulation approvals for UK and EU
  • Managing records, documents and SOPs
  • Collecting and analysis of data to drive continuous improvement activities
  • Assist in new product introduction
  • Work closely with cross functional teams including Production, R&D and Purchasing to ensure integration of quality processes throughout supply chain

Working hours:

Monday - Thursday: 7:45am - 5pm

Friday: 8:00am - 13:00pm

  • Experience of introduction of new products (PPAP)
