Job summary

Accept Recruitment in Willenhall is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business accredited to AS9100/ISO9001.

The role covers audits, documentation and continuous improvement, with duties ranging from BMS upkeep to customer/supplier interactions and problem resolution. This hands-on position requires reading engineering drawings and leading quality improvements. Salary up to £39,000 + benefits; permanent, dayshift.

Qualifications

• Formal engineering training or qualification is required.
• Strong problem resolution and root-cause analysis skills are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is required.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 audits is desirable.
• Process and procedure writing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the upkeep of the Business Management System (BMS).
• Carry out internal and supplier audits, and support customer/third-party audits.
• Write and update processes and procedures.
• Create and maintain quality metrics and KPIs.
• Produce ISIR/FAIR documentation.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers on complaint handling.
• Lead problem resolution and root cause analysis activities.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications/POs.
• Support contract reviews and internal departments on quality matters.

The Role:
