Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to take ownership of quality within our Birmingham site, in a well-established engineering business.

You will drive quality improvements in a regulated manufacturing environment, support supplier and customer quality, lead investigations and maintain our QMS in line with AS9100/ISO9001, collaborating with Operations and Supply Chain to push continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous Quality Engineer experience.
• Regulated manufacturing background.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO9001.
• Root Cause Analysis and 8D problem solving.
• Internal auditing and strong stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage customer and supplier quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement projects.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Maintain Quality Management Systems.
• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain.
• Support APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and related activities.

Our client , is looking for a proactive Quality Engineer to join their QHSE team at their Birmingham site.

Working within a regulated manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in driving quality improvements, supporting customer and supplier quality activities, leading investigations and ensuring compliance with recognised quality standards.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Managing customer and supplier quality issues
• Driving Continuous Improvement projects
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Maintaining Quality Management Systems
• Working with Operations and Supply Chain teams
• Supporting APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and related quality activities

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous Quality Engineer experience
