Quality Engineer | ISO9001 | Aerospace | Oxford | £55,000pa - £57,000pa

A leading manufacturer based in the Oxford area is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer responsible for developing and implementing Quality and Production Control Processes to support the introduction of new products into production. The role involves working across various industries and clients, often requiring quick turnaround times. A positive and proactive approach is essential.

This is a varied Quality Engineer role in a company manufacturing high-tech components for multiple industries, with a focus on aerospace and defence.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• Familiarity with Geometric Tolerancing and the ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience in writing technical documents such as FMEAs, Process Flows, Control Plans, FAIRs, PPAP, Quality Alert Documents, and 8Ds.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 is desirable; experience with AS9100 or TS16949 is a plus.
• An engineering or technical qualification is highly desirable; knowledge of materials science is advantageous.
• Experience with CMM Programming (Faro or Romer Arm) and NDT techniques is desirable.
• Proficiency with PC packages and the ability to learn software like SolidWorks and SAP Business One quickly.
