Job summary

Edwards Ltd in Bristol, part of the Atlas Copco Group, is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive improvements to the Quality Management System and ensure alignment with global requirements and customer needs. You will work with local and global teams to improve processes and report to the Quality Manager.

This role offers hybrid work between remote and on-site, with duties spanning QA protocols, audits, business continuity, risk assessments, and mentoring.

Job description

As a Quality Engineer, your mission is toTo continually improve management systems at PC Clevedon by identifying issues and working proactively within local and global teams to improve processes. To ensure that processes align with Atlas Copco global requirements, international standards and customer requirements. You will report to the Quality Manager.

You will

• To drive the effective implementation and improvement of the Quality Document Management System at product company Clevedon in line with Atlas Copco global requirements, international standards, and customer requirements
• Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain business continuity plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
• Lead cross-functional quality and continuity projects.
• Maintain the internal quality audit program.
• Conduct business management system audits.

To succeed, you will need

• Must be a good communicator and have excellent fluency in spoken and written English with the ability to explain complex issues in non-technical language

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our office in Bristol, United Kingdom (GB).
