Job summary

Edwards Ltd is seeking a Quality Technician to support the Supplier Quality function at PCC Clevedon in a hybrid role with Bristol, UK. You will review PPAP submissions, perform system clean‑ups, investigate quality issues, and liaise with suppliers to resolve non-conformances while coordinating stock, returns and repair activities.

The role emphasizes continuous quality improvement, adherence to ISO standards, strong communication, and teamwork within a global Atlas Copco environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent in production, manufacturing, quality or electrical engineering.
• Drive to promote continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18000 and 6 Sigma tools.
• Knowledge of 8D, statistics, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Proactive, detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication, administrative and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• Proficient in English (Speaking and Writing).

As a Quality Technician, your mission is to support the activities in the Supplier Quality department in PCC Clevedon. To provide additional function within the department and allow the SQE to perform their core role of supplier development. You will report to the Senior Supplier Quality Technician

You will

• Review PPAP submissions from suppliers.

• BS degree or equivalent. Degree in production, manufacturing, quality or electrical engineering with substantial experience is also acceptable.
• Must have the drive and ability to promote continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment, also be a team player and communicator.
• Professional skills and experience in managing ISO standards including ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18000 and 6 Sigma tools.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and tools (8D capability), Statistical methodologies, problem-solving experience.
• Proactive, detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of the required Health & Safety practices and procedures.
• Proficient in English (Speaking and Writing)
