Job description

Support the Quality Manager by working efficiently as part of a Quality Team in the delivery of a complex nuclear construction project.

Provide assurance that the project quality management system is effective, efficient, implemented, and cascaded appropriately through the project supply chain.

Ensure client and stakeholder requirements are met, and develop suitable Quality and Life Time Records for project close-out.

Manage project governance and assurance, including the audit schedule.

Oversee Quality-related KPIs for the project.

Champion Nuclear Safety culture and promote continuous improvement across the project.

Requirements:
  • Experience applying relevant quality management system standards (ISO 9001).
  • Experience applying a graded approach to quality.
  • Experience in expediting and effectively closing routine quality incidents.
  • Experience in reporting and monitoring the supply chain.
  • Experience compiling Life Time Record documents for project close-out.
  • Strong audit report writing and communication skills.
  • Proven background in a similar role within a highly regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of working in environments with scopes such as EC&I, HVAC, Mechanical, Construction, and related standards (desirable).
Qualifications:
  • ONC / NVQ Level 3 (preferably in a related subject) / CQI Diploma or significant related professional experience; qualifies for professional registration (e.g., Practitioner Member of CQI).
  • Auditor Qualification (e.g., ISO9001 or ISO19443).
  • Lead Auditor Qualification (e.g., ISO9001 or ISO19443) (desirable).
