Job description
The Opportunity - Quality Engineer

An experienced Quality Engineer to join the team, supporting the business's requirements in Power Products. This is a great chance for individuals looking to grow their potential within JCB in a fast-paced and impactful environment. In this role, you'll support core quality engineering disciplines and contribute to maintaining and improving standards across Power Products. Reporting directly to the Quality Group Leader, you'll be part of a collaborative team focused on driving excellence.

What does this role involve day to day?
  • You'll be key in communication and awareness of HSE procedures and policies (Inc. STOP, CALL, WAIT)
  • You'll champion compliance with OHS & ISO audits - understanding requirements
  • You'll be responsible for raising Near Misses
  • You'll maintain documentation to support Quality & Safety
  • You'll lead and support team members and other teams as required.
  • You'll be responsible for coordinating concern resolution and improvement activities.
  • You'll monitor and drive improvements on internal DPU for KPI's and External KPI's

  • Health, safety and Quality holds high importance to you, and you demonstrate this at all times
  • You're enthusiastic about driving continuous improvement
  • You have a good working knowledge of IT systems and processes
  • You have the ability to work in a team as well as cross functionally.
  • You have a calm level-headed approach
  • You're possess good decision-making skills
  • You're a good communicator, communicating both written and verbally
  • You have high level drawing and measurement understanding as well as technical understanding of products/processes.
  • You have a high-level understanding of problem-solving tools. (8D,4C etc.)
