Quality Engineer | Stone, Staffordshire | Negotiable Salary (Enquire for Details)

MERITUS are excited to be working with a leading Industrial Consultancy based in Stone. They're looking for an experienced Quality / Safety Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This exciting opportunity is based in Stone, with occasional travel to client sites, suppliers, and other group locations. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance, health and safety, and regulatory compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure company systems meet ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 45001 standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct audits and lead external assessments with clients and third-party companies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage risk assessments, safety investigations, and the production of policy and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a quality and safety role, ideally within a highly regulated industry (nuclear, energy, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, OHSAS 45001).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience liaising with employees, clients, and suppliers.
  • A full UK driving license and the ability to travel when necessary.
