Job Title: Process & Quality Engineer

Location: Warwickshire

Department: Engineering & Quality

Reporting to: Head of Engineering

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Process & Quality Engineer to join a dynamic engineering and quality team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about continuous improvement, quality assurance, and process development within a technical and production-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business processes and standards across production, quality, engineering, environmental, health & safety, and training.
  • Support the planning and implementation of Quality & Environmental Management Systems (QEMS) and Business Management Systems (BMS).
  • Design and develop products, tooling, fixtures, and test equipment.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities including supplier audits, inspections, and testing.
  • Create and maintain production and configuration management documentation.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Deliver formal and informal training to promote quality awareness and competence.
  • Produce engineering documentation such as FMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
  • Contribute to contract fulfilment through quality and engineering planning.
  • Support continual improvement initiatives across the business.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in automotive engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with ISO, IATF, and APQP standards.
  • Familiarity with quality and project management techniques.
  • Audit experience or willingness to work towards a recognised audit qualification.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate a positive attitude.
