Job Responsibilities:

Essential

  1. Leadership experience within a shopfloor manufacturing environment
  2. Understanding of manufacturing engineering with respect to one or more of these areas: die casting, metal forming, automated assembly, mechanisms, tooling fixtures and gauges.
  3. Understanding of Quality Tools (SPC, MSA, PPAP, Control plans, Process Flows, 8D Methodologies)
  4. Proficient in and learning the Business Operating Systems (IATF 16949)
  5. Clear communication skills and proven reporting at all levels of the business

Desirable

  1. Understanding of APQP and FMEA process
  2. Experience in a medium to high volume manufacturing environment preferred
  3. Knowledge of MES or similar production systems
  4. Process knowledge (die castings, HT, CNC, Assembly operations)
