Job summary

Major Recruitment Norwich is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer in Diss, Norfolk. The role combines calibration, testing, and quality improvement to ensure product performance and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to uphold quality standards and engage with suppliers to resolve component issues.

The position offers a hands-on, independent role with opportunities to drive continuous improvement in a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Engineer or Quality Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong engineering background with a good understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience calibrating and testing components and parts.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and quality-related issues.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience working with suppliers and resolving component-related issues.
• Confident communicating with customers and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer from an Engineering or Manufacturing background looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real impact?

Or perhaps you're a Quality Technician ready to take the next step in your career?

We're working with a well-established Manufacturer in Diss, Norfolk that is looking to add a proactive and technically minded Quality Engineer to its team. This is a varied role that combines quality assurance, testing, calibration, problem solving, supplier interaction and customer engagement.

You’ll be equally comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team, taking ownership of quality processes while helping to drive continuous improvement across the business.

The Role

• Calibrating components and parts to required standards.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience).


• Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 Hours per Week.
