Job Description:

As a Quality Engineer, you will assist the Quality Director in managing and controlling the Quality System in line with UK CAA Part 145, EASA Part 145, FAA Part 145, EN 9110, EN 9120, ISO 17025, and Safety Management System requirements. Your focus will be on product quality and safety, supporting quality assurance activities, conducting audits, and managing the organisation's Quality and Safety Management Systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Management of the Technical Library: Monthly review of technical data issued by major OEMs, auditing OEM technical data, obtaining data as needed, and controlling technical data within the ERP system.
  • Warranty Investigations: Assess validity of warranty claims, provide necessary information for acceptance or rejection.
  • Auditing: Manage internal audit plans covering product, process, and safety audits; conduct audits against relevant regulations and standards; manage findings and verify corrective actions; support external audits.
  • Corrective Actions: Raise and define corrective actions based on customer feedback or nonconformities; manage and verify their effectiveness.
  • Vendor Management: Manage approved vendors list, approve new vendors, handle nonconforming products, and oversee vendor KPIs.
Position Requirements
  • Certified QMS/Airworthiness auditor.
  • Experience in MRO within the aviation industry.
  • At least 3 years' experience in quality engineering or a related role.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma) and tools (FMEA, SPC) is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
