Job summary

Whittan Group in Milton Keynes is seeking a Quality Engineer to support and maintain quality processes for the MK site. You will conduct internal audits, coordinate NCRs and corrective actions, and ensure product conformance across manufacturing operations.

The role requires good knowledge of ISO standards, experience in engineering and manufacturing, and the ability to train shop floor staff. You will work on process documentation, measurement equipment calibration, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ISO standards.
• Experience in engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Methodical and highly organized.
• Strong written and verbal communication to deliver reports.
• Ability to work on own initiative and train others.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Ability to influence others to achieve objectives.
• Knowledge of internal auditing.
• Ability to review and flow-chart processes.
• Understanding of measuring equipment.
• Understanding of engineering drawings.
• Experience working with suppliers to meet specifications (steel, chemicals).
• Computer literate; SAP knowledge preferable.

The Whittan Group is the largest manufacturer of steel storage products in the United Kingdom. Operating through a number of market leading brands; we design, manufacture and install storage solutions for commercial and industrial environments in the UK and Europe.

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our busy and growing organisation. The successful candidate will be based at our Milton Keynes site and will be responsible forsupporting and maintaining Quality Processes and procedures for Whittan MK.

Key Working Relationships

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Auditing of all areas
