Job summary

The Whittan Group is seeking a Quality Engineer to join at the Milton Keynes site. The role covers maintaining quality processes, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in the UK.

Key responsibilities include internal audits, NCR handling, process documentation, and calibration of measurement equipment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ISO standards.
• Experience in engineering & manufacturing processes.
• Methodical and organized approach.
• Strong written and spoken communication for reports.
• Ability to work on own initiative and train others.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to influence other to achieve objectives.
• Ability to review and flow chart a process.
• Understanding of measuring equipment.
• Understanding of engineering drawings.
• Experience working with suppliers to meet specifications.
• Computer literate; SAP experience preferable.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our busy and growing organisation. The successful candidate will be based at our

Milton Keynes site and will be responsible forsupporting and maintaining Quality Processes and procedures for Whittan MK.

Key Working Relationships

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Auditing of all areas
• Customer Focused / resolving customer Issues.
• Quality Inspections / Ensure product conformity.
• Oversee Documentation control – company form register
• Raising of NCRs / Corrective Actions
• Training of key processes to shop floor personnel.
• Monitoring / upkeep of Process Boards
• Calibration & Issue of all measuring equipment
• Collection of Scrap data to drive cost down focus.
• Writing of New procedures
• 8d and problem-solving analysis.

Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience
