STRABAG UK LIMITED is seeking a Quality Assurance specialist to support site delivery teams and ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan. The role emphasizes monitoring QA procedures, site inspections, and collaboration with the Quality Manager.

You will review subcontractor quality plans, assist in material testing and keep accurate quality records. Strong analytical skills and attention to compliance are essential.

Formación

• Experience in general QA required.
• Experience in QA procedures and controls.
• Observant and analytical mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Support site delivery teams to ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan.
• Assist Build Clean Strategy Water QA Management Plan to meet Reg 31 regulations.
• Carry out daily inspections of sites to verify compliance with Company Policy, Procedures and HARP QMS.
• Undertake quality surveillance on quality records as required.
• Review Subcontractor quality plans and ITPs for temporary and permanent works.
• Work closely with the Materials Engineer on material approvals and testing.
• Support the setup and maintenance of material storage yards with quality controls and record keeping.
• Close collaboration with the Site and Quality Team for the analysis of defects or nonconformities.
• Promote the reporting of Nonconformances (NCRs) and Opportunities For Improvement.
• Collate business / contract Quality Management statistics in a timely manner and submit to the Quality Manager for reporting purposes.
• Maintain Lifetime Quality Records as necessary to ensure compliance with SUK procedures and HARP Contract Requirements.
• Stop work with the agreement of the Quality / Site / Project Management at any time if drinking water quality standards are questioned.
• Checking and approving completed reinforcement cages against relevant segment reinforcement drawings.
• Determining the concrete strength of cast segments.
• Establishing repair requirements and coordinating the repairs.
• Undertaking finishing inspection of the segments to determine acceptance or rejection.
• Liaising with the Segment Production team and Quality Manager.
• Producing weekly quality report for the site team.
• Any other specific projects / tasks given by the Quality Manager.

HND/Degree in Engineering
