- In this role, you will plan and carry out key quality functions within the organization and be responsible for control and management of all routine quality assurance tasks.
- You will lead and influence quality improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and assist production in resolving non-conformances, providing timely investigations into root causes, and working closely with shop floor personnel to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with site management to continually improve projects, processes, and daily activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, report KPIs, analyze data to support investigations, and conduct monthly analyses.
- Conduct internal audits of customer and internal documentation, verify and file review evidence.
- Develop quality standards and control systems, create corrective actions, and monitor progress for closure.
- Review customer quality specifications and ensure proper implementation within internal systems, manage records.
- Represent PST during customer visits and communicate effectively.
- Liaise with suppliers and external service providers.
- Provide training and support to shop floor personnel, coaching and mentoring on quality topics.
What makes you great
- You must have the right to work in the UK and demonstrable experience in Quality.
- Experience working in ISO9001 or AS9100 environments is required, along with internal audit training.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of Human factors and Nadcap experience is a plus.
- Project management skills and experience as a lead auditor.
- Experience in the Aerospace industry and familiarity with lean activities is desirable.
- FMEA experience is a plus.
- Statistical knowledge, with working familiarity of Minitab.
