Quality Engineer – Leicester – £38,000 - £40,000 + Performance Bonus Scheme 20-30% + Pension + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer from a manufacturing or engineering background, looking to join a well-established business that supplies into multiple global sectors, including Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace, Rail, and Marine?

The Role

• Developing, monitoring, and maintaining company quality systems in line with ISO9001 and IATF standards.
• Supporting customers and suppliers, resolving quality issues using tools such as 8D and 5Y.
• Producing PPAPs, FAIRs, ISIRs, and inspection reports on new and existing products.
• Conducting internal and external audits and supporting engineering change processes.
• Monitoring COPQ and driving continuous improvements.

The Person

• Proven background as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; IATF 16949 experience highly desirable.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use inspection/measurement equipment.
• Confident in problem solving, auditing, and using Quality Core Tools (8D, 5Y, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plans).
• Casting or foundry process knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive and team-focused approach.
