We are on the lookout for a proactive and methodical Quality Engineer to join our client’s team and take ownership of quality control, process improvement, and customer feedback initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead investigations for internal issues, supplier defects, and customer complaints
- Manage the full lifecycle of non-conformance processes
- Drive continuous improvement using structured methodologies
- Oversee procedures to ensure swift and high-quality customer service
- Perform quality inspections and use metrology tools where needed
- Support supplier qualification and auditing to ensure compliance with quality standards
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- Strong background in manufacturing quality systems and process improvement
- At least 5 years of quality experience in a precision or high-tech engineering environment
- Skilled in using CI tools
- Organised and detail-focused, with a structured approach to troubleshooting and documentation
- Comfortable interpreting customer requirements and industry regulations
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- OR HNC/ONC in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
- Quality-specific qualifications are advantageous
