Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking a Quality Engineer / Quality Technician for a well-established manufacturing business in the UK. The role supports the Compliance Manager to ensure quality systems across sites and drives continuous improvement.

You will engage in audits, training, and documentation control, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001, AS9100 and NADCAP standards. The position offers development opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Quality role (e.g., Inspector, Technician, Engineer)
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100 & NADCAP
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining compliance with quality standards across sites
• Review and approve relevant Change Control documentation
• Deliver quality inductions and training when required
• Attend quality meetings and raise issues
• Support departments in addressing non-conformances and corrective actions
• Assist with external audits and competency audits
• Investigate test failures and drive problem solving
• Maintain controlled specification records and review specifications

Hours: Monday Thursday, 08:00am till 4:30pm, Friday 08:00am till 2:00pm

Salary: £30,000 to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits

Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer will work in a varied role, but its core focus is to assist the Compliance Manager in ensuring quality and compliance systems operate effectively across the sites.

• Assist in maintaining compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP quality standards.
• Review and approve relevant sections of Control of Change documentation.
• Deliver compliance training and quality inductions when required.
• Attend SQDCP meetings and raise or elevate quality-related issues.
• Support departments in addressing non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.
• Assist with external audits.
• Conduct competency audits and monitor ongoing compliance.
• Investigate test failures and problem-solving techniques.
• Initiate specification reviews and maintain controlled specification records.

Requirements

• Previous experience within a Quality Role/Department, this could include Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Engineer, Compliance Engineer etc.
• Knowledge of Quality Standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100 & NADCAP etc
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
