Job Description

A Civil Engineering contractor, having secured a large project south of Exeter, is looking for a Quality Engineer with extensive experience in earthworks and infrastructure projects. This is a very long-term contract starting ASAP; however, the contractor will wait for the right candidate. The appointed person will work with the Quality Manager, with duties including testing, monitoring, and recording site activities to ensure high standards of work practices are maintained, and maintaining accurate quality records on site.

This role requires a high level of technical knowledge and organizational skills. Applicants must demonstrate a background in major earthworks and concrete structures within a Quality role, having managed similar projects of significant value from start to finish. The successful candidate will be a key member of the site team, with potential for further personal development and possible permanent employment.
