Job summary

Unipart Technologies Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quality specialist to own and drive quality processes across customers, suppliers, and internal production, including new project introductions.

You will define quality control methods, maintain control plans, and conduct audits to ensure ISO9001, IATF16494 and VDA6.3 compliance while supporting production quality concerns and delivering robust data analysis to support problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing ISO9001, IATF16494 and VDA6.3.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Customer, Supplier, and Internal relationships
• Support project development with defining quality control methods and gauging systems to meet Customer expectations
• Development and maintenance of Control Plans
• Regular Control Plan audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures, ISO9001, IATF16494 and VDA6.3
• Supporting any current production quality concerns
• Facilitate the investigation of any internal, customer and supplier concerns applying 8D approach with a cross functional team
• Design data collection and analysis to assist problem solving activities driven by facts and figures
• Management and communication of Quality KPI related information to internal/external customers
• Administration of Customer portals (quality metrics and problem solving)
• Statistical analysis of process and MSA studies
• NPI activities to support the business
• IMDS report creation and submission
• Any other ad hoc investigations required by the company
