Job summary

Kindeva Drug Delivery is seeking a Manufacturing Technology professional to support/lead projects across the full production lifecycle of MDI valves and cans. You will drive investigations, validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives within a GMP environment, liaising with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or similar role.
  • Degree in Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Engineering.
  • Experience of GMP, Quality Assurance, Validation, Project management, ISO 9001 and QMS highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related CI methodologies is a plus.
  • Understanding of cGMP, FDA, EMA standards is advantageous.
  • Experience managing concurrent projects and investigations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product quality investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Validate new and existing products and processes.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve quality through CI.
  • Progress and prioritise multiple projects/investigations and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Apply data analysis and CI tools such as Minitab and LSS.
  • Develop SOPs, validation protocols, reports and change controls.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Maintain a strong safety-first culture on site.

The Impact You Will Make

This role is joining our dynamic team in Manufacturing Technology (Process & Manufacturing Engineering) where you will be supporting the production and assembly of complex precision components for pulmonary/inhalation drug delivery devices.

In this role you will support/lead the projects & investigations at Kindeva, across the full production lifecycle of MDI valves and cans, from raw material production through to finished product.

Investigation & Project scope may cover across process, production, chemical, quality, project, systems and sourcing.

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Leading product quality investigations, including troubleshooting product and process defects and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Validation of new and existing products and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement is the foundation of the company so identifying opportunities and executing projects to reduce costs and improve quality are a significant part of the role.
  • Progressing and prioritising multiple projects or investigations of varying sizes simultaneously, communicating with project stakeholders and the wider business.
  • Application of data analysis and continuous improvement tools such as Minitab and LSS.
  • Applying technical expertise for assigned products and processes, including troubleshooting, and managing improvements.
  • Developing documentation such as SOP's, validation protocols, reports and change controls.
  • Compliance with industry regulations.
  • Maintain the sites excellent safety record by actively engaging in a safety-first approach.
Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing industry or similar role.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience of any of the following - GMP working environment, Quality Assurance, Validation, Project management, ISO 9001 and working within a QMS.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA, EMA) is an advantage.
  • Experience in managing projects & investigations at the same time.
  • Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel

Additional Information

Working Hours: 37.5hrs per week (Onsite)
