Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their team. This hands-on role supports all aspects of the business, with a strong focus on manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing quality issues effectively, applying robust Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce cleanroom compliance with established protocols
  • Support incoming component inspection to maintain quality standards
  • Manage non-conformance and lead improvement activities
  • Investigate internal issues and customer complaints/returns
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure process effectiveness
  • Support annual ISO 9001 audit activities
  • Participate in customer meetings and audits
  • Approve Delivery Review Boards and Change Requests
  • Attend Change Control Boards
  • Oversee and approve process releases
  • Deliver Electrostatic Discharge and Code of Practice training
  • Review, approve, and manage closure of permits and concessions
  • Create and maintain REACH/RoHS and other compliance declarations

Skills & Experience:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Higher technical education (HNC or above)
  • Proven experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment (cleanroom experience desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards
  • Analytical skills for effective problem-solving
  • Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and 8D problem-solving methodologies
