- Collaborate with local functions, APQP managers, and other sites efficiently, proactively seeking best practices and process innovations.
- Lead and coordinate problem-solving activities, ensuring timely actions and assessing corrective effectiveness. Use tools like plan-do-check-act, Ishikawa, 5-why, 8D, etc.
- Understand customer needs, specifications, and expectations as defined by Customer Technical Services.
- Ensure all product specifications are clearly understood.
- Support continual improvement of processes and products to meet customer requirements.
- Plan quality control by ensuring main product families have dedicated control plans, aligned with other site plans, and that staff are trained and compliant.
- Maintain connection with ECRs impacting products and processes; lead teams to implement changes successfully.
- Coordinate product introduction with APQP, ensuring quality systems are defined, effective, and focus on first-time right delivery.
- Ensure the facility is equipped for daily metrology needs and future requirements are clear.
- Maintain close collaboration with Group Metrology to follow group processes and procedures.
- Define, communicate, and ensure effective daily routine measurements.
- Progress the MAS project based on product priority and risk.
- Ensure calibration is completed as scheduled.
- Support internal audits, validations, PFMEA, metrology, document control, and deviation management.
- Apply structured approaches like plan-do-check-act for issue resolution, using tools such as Ishikawa, 5-why, and 8D.
Your profile
- Knowledge of QMS requirements, including relevant international standards and BRC where necessary.
- Understanding of quality disciplines, including costs of quality, monitoring, tools & techniques, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good command of English language communication skills.
- Ability to manage change and embrace new practices to achieve goals.
- High integrity, respect for diversity, and valuing different backgrounds and ideas.
- Strong organizational skills, clear role delineation, and flexibility to adapt and optimize quality and productivity.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions with excellent communication skills.
- Promote teamwork, inclusion, and trust among colleagues.
- Practical experience in conducting internal and external audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry) or equivalent experience.
- Additional qualifications such as Six Sigma, auditing, problem-solving, or change management are advantageous.
