Wabtec's LH Group in Burton on Trent is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to lead quality activities for the bogie product range, ensuring adherence to specifications.
You will review supplier documentation, manage non-conformances, and support continuous improvement while maintaining 5S and quality compliance across QA processes.
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at the LH Group (a Division of Wabtec UK Ltd) based in Burton on Trent we support our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing trains.
Role: Quality Engineer
Location: Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, (DE13 8EN)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30pm and Friday 08:00am to 13:00pm, 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
How will you make a difference?
As a Quality Engineer, you will be detail orientated and highly motivated with a strong mechanical background to join our team in the rail industry. This role will be central to the Bogies team by leading all Quality related activities from root cause investigations, customer and product audits, ensuring FAI’s are fully documented and working closely with internal customer’s.
