Quality Engineer
£36,000, BS10, 33 days holiday including bank holidays, Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm (early finish Fridays), pension, parking, bonus

We are a friendly and successful aerospace engineering company based in Bristol, recruiting for a Quality Engineer, Lead Quality Inspector, or Aerospace Quality Inspector who will report to the Quality Manager.

Role Responsibilities

• FMEAs and FAIRs
• Supporting documentation and record maintenance for quality activities
• Performing CMM programming with Aberlink
• Acting as the link between a small team of quality inspectors and the Quality Manager
• Addressing quality issues and providing practical solutions on the shop floor
• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Reviewing and interpreting route cards, process instructions, drawings, and inspection procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances
• Using standard measuring equipment as needed
• Preparing reports in accordance with AS9102 standards

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is currently a Quality Engineer or Inspector seeking career progression, with exceptional skills, aerospace experience, and a desire to develop further. CMM programming skills with Aberlink are essential.
