Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Quality Management professional to join our UK operations supporting HPC and other major projects. You will contribute to quality plans, audits, and LTQR reviews with a focus on aligning supply chain performance with programme requirements.

You will work with cross-functional teams across the UK and globally, travel regularly, and influence stakeholders to drive continuous improvement while upholding safety, integrity and inclusion values at Amentum.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Quality Management and understanding of quality management best practice for deployment by large organisations.
• Willingness to travel regularly with supply chain.
• Solution-oriented mindset with ability to influence and challenge constructively.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the quality execution plan within the Programme and undertaken reviews and checks to ensure quality is delivered by the supply chain efficiently and in accordance with programme quality requirements.
• Prepare and update the Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs).
• Monitor QMLs deliverables identified in the KANBAN dashboard.
• Expedite Quality Auditors in the prompt resolution of audit findings within the supply chain.
• Support the progressive review and acceptance of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR) by contractors and lead implementation of LTQR reviews delegated by QML.
• Perform in-factory manufacturing inspection when required (UK, France or worldwide) delegated by QML.

About the Opportunity

Education, Experience and Skills

Academic background in Quality Management and clear understanding of quality management best practice for deployment by large, complex, and contract-led organisations.

Appetite for regular travels with supply chain whilst remaining open to the ideas of others.

Solution provider mindset, able influence and to provide constructive challenge which is accepted by others.

Confident and articulate communicator, able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, able to speak on behalf of QML in large audience.
