Zusammenfassung

Amentum is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join the PPP Team in Birchwood, UK. You will oversee engineering strategy, delivery, risk, schedule, and cost for major projects within the PPP framework, coordinating a multi-disciplinary team and stakeholders to drive safe, compliant execution.

You will bring proven leadership on EPC projects, experience as Principal Designer under CDM, and Chartered Engineer status, delivering high-value, complex programs across regulated environments.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience leading major engineering delivery on EPC projects.
• Experience as Principal Designer under CDM regulations.
• Knowledge of the Nuclear Industry (or similar regulated Industry) and safety requirements.
• Experience with change control, forecasting, and performance management.
• Experience of benefits realisation on projects and the challenges that need to be overcome.

Aufgaben

• Act as the senior point of contact for all Engineering related matters for a major project within the PPP framework including but not limited to;
• Overall Engineering strategy and Engineering execution, Engineering risk management, Engineering schedule delivery and Engineering cost delivery.
• Act as the senior engineering point of contact for Management Board Project Status reviews
• Act as the senior point of contact for Internal Amentum monthly project reviews
• Responsible for creating and leading a multi-disciplinary team across all major disciplines such CSA, Mechanical, CE&I safety etc. which could be up to circa 80 people.
• Working alongside key stakeholders including intelligent client to ensure engineering strategies and engineering execution are robust are underpinned Instigation of Learning from Experience/continuous improvement activities

We are the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20‑year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects.
