Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Senior HSEQ Engineer for an initial 12-month PAYE contract in Basingstoke. The role involves developing Project Quality Plans, conducting Technical Bid Evaluations, and providing project support on quality assurance matters. Ideal candidates will have experience in oil & gas projects, ISO9001 certification, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Hybrid work flexibility allows for 12 days at home per month.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in oil & gas and/or energy design projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality results on schedule.
  • Certified auditor for ISO9001 (ISO14001 and ISO45001 certification preferred).
  • Experience in decommissioning projects is desirable.
  • HSE knowledge and experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP).
  • Prepare and review ITT packages and conduct Technical Bid Evaluations.
  • Act as Project Discipline Leader when required.
  • Advise projects on quality assurance matters.
  • Support and perform project quality audits in accordance with ISO standards.

Skills

Senior HSEQ Engineer - New Job Opportunity - Inital 12 Month PAYE Contract - based in Basingstoke

Our client is currently in search for a SeniorHSEQ Engineer to work on an initial 12 Months PAYE Contract based in Basingstoke.

IR35 Status: Inside IR35 PAYE only
Location: Basingstoke, UK
Hybrid flexibility: 12 days working from home per month

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Engineer, HSEQ to provide project support on quality-related activities. This includes developing and managing Project Quality Plans (PQP), preparing Invitation to Tender (ITT) packages, and conducting Technical Bid Evaluations. The role will be part of the Project Quality Team and may include acting as the Project Discipline Leader for an individual project. You will also serve as a quality advisor to projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP).
  • Prepare and review ITT packages and conduct Technical Bid Evaluations.
  • Act as Project Discipline Leader when required.
  • Advise projects on quality assurance matters.
  • Support and perform project quality audits in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Participate in company audits when required.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in oil & gas and/or energy design projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality results on schedule.
  • Certified auditor for ISO9001 (ISO14001 and ISO45001 certification preferred).
