Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust's Iris Ward is seeking a Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager to support the Clinical Team Manager and leadership team in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective care on Grasmere ward. You will work within an integrated multidisciplinary team, balancing managerial and clinical duties, and champion quality improvement and coaching leadership.

Qualifications

• Interest in quality improvement and implementing new ideas on the ward.
• Experience supporting the Clinical Team Manager with managerial responsibility.
• Ability to coach leadership and work with service users and carers.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Clinical Team Manager and Clinical Leadership Team to deliver high-quality, safe care.
• Operate as part of an integrated MDT balancing managerial and clinical activity.
• Demonstrate resilience, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• DBS check is required as part of the role.
